DR. ISAAC ZAMORA is known for treating all patients personally and performing all procedures himself. It is his attention to detail that has made his practice a vital part of the community for over 32 years. He receives great satisfaction from seeing his patients improve and be active participants in their skin care plan.

Dr. Zamora’s specialties include all aspects of dermatology and dermatologic surgery, including routine skin examinations, skin cancer detection, treatment for all skin disorders and advice on optimal skin care. He provides treatment for dermatologic disorders involving both medical treatment and surgical skills, such as removing skin cancers, moles, cysts and pre-cancerous lesions.

Dr. Zamora also performs in-office cosmetic procedures, including Botox, fillers, laser, sclerotherapy and glycolic acid peels.

Dr. Zamora has enjoyed playing piano most of his life and started writing songs 25 years ago. He created a CD of original music titled “Testing The Water,” proceeds from which go directly to women’s cancer research sponsored by Sarasota Memorial Hospital’s Healthcare Foundation. A second CD will be released in 2014.

Professional Biography

Dr. Isaac Zamora graduated from Downstate Medical Center, State University of New York in Brooklyn, New York in 1976, receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. From 1978 – 1981, Dr. Zamora served his residency in Dermatology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio, Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Zamora has been Board certified in Dermatology since December, 1981.

He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Sarasota County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association, Society for Investigative Dermatology and the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Zamora is the co-author of:

  • “Premature cataracts in a family with hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.”
  • “Lennert’s lymphoma presenting with clusters of cutaneous infection.”
